Swap your morning coffee with this matcha (powdered green tea) latte recipe for an antioxidant boost.  I recently discovered Oatly oat milk.  They have a variety called “Barista” which froths up really nicely.  Give it a try!


Matcha Latte

serves 2



  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond, soy, oat, or rice milk
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • Agave syrup


  1. Heat the almond milk in a saucepan over medium heat until just simmering.
  2. Pour the boiling water, matcha powder, and hot milk into the blender, and blitz until frothy.
  3. Pour into your cup and add agave to taste.
